Nordica Olympia Victory XBI with Marker Piston Binding - 2008-08-17
New graphic for 08-09 and new 146cm size. The Victory is a versatile advanced-expert level carver for skiers who mostly stick to packed runs. There’s no metal in this ski, so it’s a little lighter and quicker feeling than the raciest of the women’s skis like the K2 Lotta Luv, if not quite as solid at speed. Like most of the other Nordica all-mountain skis, the Victory is a little more demanding than some skis, but it pays off in all-around performance. Nordica makes some of the best traditional-style wood cores in the business, and you can feel it on this ski. It has a great balance of performance characteristics that will work for a wide variety of skiers. Our testers gave it very high overall scores, and one noted that it ”...had a very light feel, but performed well when skied aggressively.” Very high scores for stability, which is unusual for a light, responsive ski. Compare to the Rossignol Attraxion VI, the K2 Lotta Luv, the Dynastar Exclusive Legend, and the Salomon Origins. Comes with integrated Marker binding. |
