Biking is skiing's summer flipside and one of the healthiest, most fun and economically sensible sports out there. In the summer, Footloose becomes a full-service road and mountain bike shop- with sales, service, rentals and demo bikes. Our bike staff is made up of passionate cyclists, from road guru Glen Miyata, to Brian Emerson, a long-time competitive downhiller and mountain bike obsessive of the first order. They can build you a custom bike from the frame up or overhaul a downhill fork, but they're just as stoked to clean your chain or point you towards some of our local riding.

Look out for our new custom bike program in Spring '05. Footloose carries a wide selection of mountain and road bikes from Specialized, Santa Cruz, Lemond, Trek, and new this year Intense Cycles- the world's premier full-suspension mountain bikes. We also carry bike gear from Fox Racing, Oakley, 661, Giro, Pearl Izumi and a complete stock of replacement and upgrade parts from every major manufacturer.

Bike Repair

We have expanded our large rental/demo program to include top of the line bikes- where else can you rent a $5,000 downhill bike? And of course, our Bootfitting Department is open for cycling shoe work and molding Superfeet custom footbeds.
